Let me start by saying happy holidays. Merry Christmas, if you celebrate Christmas.

Take some time to think about your past. Think about moments that you cherish. Think about times you were able to enjoy family and friends. Did those moments include some sort of holiday? Were they just moments?

Whatever you remember, cherish those times. Write them down so you don’t forget. Draw pictures and keep them safe. We all have times that we want to remember. The trick is to remember them when we are feeling down. Writing them down, and having them safe when we need them can help us remember that times were better, and will be again. Feeling down doesn’t have to last forever. Creating ways to remind ourselves that we are worthy and alive can help.
