Have you ever considered how you relate to others? Do you need to be in a relationship? Are you comfortable on your own? Are you the type that checks your partners phone, or do you trust your partner? Do you need to know where they are at all times?

Our ability to manage our relationships is shaped in our family system, past relationships, and past experience. It is shaped by our ability to attach to others and manage relationships. As you consider how you manage relationships, consider your type. You may be the jealous type, because you have been hurt before. You may be trusting, sometimes too much. You might be more comfortable alone, protecting yourself from the pain of being hurt. Think about your ability to connect to others and decide if it’s healthy or needs work. That skill is definitely part of being happy, for life.
