I enjoy Christmas, but it’s not Christmas until I get to the see the gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian Resort At Disney World in Florida. Did you know if you catch the house being built that you can get free samples of the gingerbread going on the frame? Did you know that the house becomes bee food after the holidays? As the holiday season gets going, I was able to get to my happy place recently to see the gingerbread house. The nice thing about it, it’s free to see. If you choose to purchase anything, I will say that it’s expensive but for my family it’s tradition.

As you start to plan you holiday, don’t forget to plan for your family traditions. Drive around and see the lights and decorations. Plan for holiday gatherings, full of food and fun, and enjoy friends and family. Think about events in your community and share holiday wishes.

With current strain in our country, it’s important to remember we all want the same things. We want to be able to provide for our families. We want safe communities, a home to live in, and a job that helps us support a American Dream. At the end of the day, we all need a happy place to remember what’s important. I hope you find your happy place. It’s part of being happy, for life.
